Doctors General Laboratory opened its doors in 2002 and began providing reliable, affordable lab services to central Texans. We are proud to be a locally-owned Austin business with three locations throughout the city, as well as a provider of home draw options for Home Health Services.

For your convenience, no appointment is necessary at any of our locations and our  Hymeadow location is open Saturdays. Simply walk in at any location and one of our phlebotomists will draw your blood, order your tests and have you out the door.

DGL accepts BlueCross BlueSheild, Aetna, United Health Care, Medicare and most other insurance providers. For many people, the cost of health insurance is a growing concern. Doctors General Laboratory understands this concern, which is why we provide a discount to uninsured self-pay patients.

We take pride in knowing that we offer the best customer service available, and we understand the important role in which our service is relied upon.
